Lantern Festival

In December Garw Carnival committee has held Lantern Festivals.

The party preceded by a parade was held at Blaengarw Workingmen's Hall and was well attended by locals.

Local school choirs and local dance troops performed at the events along with contestants from the local talent contests.

The Carnival Committee wishes to thank all the performers, everyone who took part in the procession, everyone who came along to watch and Creation Development Trust for use of the building, all their help and continued support.

Garw Lantern Festival
Leaves Darren Bungalows (King Edward Street) at 6.00pm
before travelling to Blaengarw Workmen's Hall
See Santa in his sleigh, come and dress the Christmas tree and join in all the festivities!
Indoor bbq, and firework display!
Please bring your lanterns (LED are ideal, no naked flames please!!)
Performances by Blaengarw Primary School and local dance groups.
Free entry!
